August 01, 2006 - New T-Shirts, Baby Dolls, and Beer Koozies!!!
We appreciate everybody making it out to all the shows so far this summer!

We had a great time with the guys from Heavy Sandwich in Savannah and hope we can put something together with them real soon! The Rockabilly BBQ went over really well again this year. Make sure you visit Lisa and Mark's website and let them know how much you appreciate their support for the music.

If you're planning to attend the Charlotte Oktoberfest, be sure to go ahead and get tickets from the website and save $10. They've added 50 more brewers, more parking from the location at Memorial Stadium, and a Beerlympic Village sponsored by Creative Loafing. We can't wait to take home GOLD!

We just received some new T-Shirts, Baby Dolls, and Beer Koozies. Yep, if you're a slow drinker and need to keep your PBR (or other beverage of choice) cool, you can do it in Truckstop Preacher style! You can purchase them from our website through Woody's Music or using Paypal.

Hope ya'll are having a great summer and hope to see you out at the next show real soon!

May 21, 2006 - Truckstop Preachers Opening for Dwight Yoakam

Hope everybody is doing great. The preachers have a little news for ya.

We just found out that we've got an opening spot for the Dwight Yoakam show in Winston-Salem. The show is being put on by Ziggy's. It's an all ages show. Tickets are $25 in advance. Gates open at 6pm and show starts at 7pm. Be sure to visit Ziggy's website for more information. In order to do the show we had to cancel a party for our long time friend, Harry Lomax. We really appreciate him working with us for this opportunity. We owe ya big!

We've really enjoyed the shows in the past month. We've posted some pictures from the 3rd Annual Cash Bash on the Photo's page. If you have any pictures you'd like to share, be sure to send them by email.

Ya'll be sure to check out the Rockabilly BBQ on June 10th. This is the 3rd year they've had the BBQ and sure to be bigger this year. It starts at noon with a car show. The music will start shortly after. For more information be sure to check out: RockabillyBBQ.com.

Hope to see ya'll out!

Hope everyone's doing alright! The show with The Rounders (oh I mean, The Tennessee Rounders) was really great. Those guys really know how to throw a Johnny Cash tribute! We really appreciate all their hospitality. Hopefully we can do a Katrina benefit for them sometime soon ;)! We hope to be coming back up that way soon. Chattanooga is a great town with some really nice traditional country fans.

Be sure to make it out Las Palmas in Salisbury on St. Patricks Day. This will be a return visit to the club and the last one went over great! We're always surprised to see how many great music fans are out there!

The next night we've got The Evening Muse. The Tsunamis will be opening. If you're a fan of classic surf music, you will be in for a treat! These neighbors of ours will have you heading down to the Rat's Nest for a surf shirt by the time the set is done.

We really appreciate all the emails you've sent lately. Feel free to send more to pump up the egos : ). Hope to see ya'll out!

The New Year's Eve show went over great! We would like to thank Scott, Seth, Bobby C, Papa Avett & Dolph for the invite. We appreciate all the hospitality and hope we can pair up again!

If you missed the interview with WSGE before the show, you may have missed our last live performance on radio. I'm sure they're getting tired of telling us what five letter words we can use and not use on the air. We appreciate all the staff at WSGE (Bobby Bob, Cliff, and Ben) for their continued support and acceptance of bribes for radio spins! See ya'll out soon!
